THERE ARE NO ANY REGISTERED CASES OF SARS IN BULGARIA

ALL DEFENSE ACTIONS ARE TAKEN

The Bulgarian Ministry of Health, said that after clinical research and confirmed negative results in
Bernard Hoht Institute, Hamburg, Germany, the possible case of SARS has been rejected.

Based on these results the World Health Organization took Bulgaria out of the list with doubtful or
possible results of SARS. Nevertheless, all measures needed to stop the epidemy on the airports and the ports of Sofia, Varna and Burgas are still valid.

There are not any restrictive measurements for the arriving passengers in the country. Passengers
arriving from countries with confirmed cases of SARS are being asked to fill in epidemiological form and they are being advised for a special behaviour and
protection. Passengers coming from countries with confirmed cases of SARS with symptoms of the disease are being isolated and treated in the special ward.
